Submissions

The Moinho Cine Fest accepts short films, micro films, nano films, video dance and music videos from all over the world. Submissions are made through FilmFreeway, Festhome, Shortfilmdepot and Movibeta.


Categories

  • Short — 05:01 to 40:00
  • Micro — 01:01 to 05:00
  • Nano — up to 01:00

We accept:

  • Films of any genre
  • Music videos
  • Video dance

Productions from 2025 onwards.

Festival: April 2027

Opening: 1 May 2026

Closing: 31 December 2026

Notification: 15 January 2027

May and June

  • Short: EUR 5
  • Micro: EUR 3
  • Nano: EUR 1

July and August

  • Short: EUR 7
  • Micro: EUR 5
  • Nano: EUR 1

September and October

  • Short: EUR 9
  • Micro: EUR 7
  • Nano: EUR 2

November and December

  • Short: EUR 11
  • Micro: EUR 9
  • Nano: EUR 2

Submission fees are non-refundable.


Discounts

  • 8% for Festhome members
  • 10% for FilmFreeway Gold members
  • 10% on Movibeta for two or more submissions
  • +10% on FilmFreeway for two or more submissions
  • +10% for Festhome Pro members
  • Possibility of a submission fee waiver (see regulations)

Requests must be sent to moinhocinefest@gmail.com with:

  • film title
  • platform where it will be submitted
  • reason for the request

  • M – Best Music Video or Video Dance: 100 EUR + Certificate

Screening Fees

The festival pays €0.05 per second (excluding opening/closing credits).

Maximum amount per film:

  • Short: EUR 120
  • Micro: EUR 15
  • Nano: EUR 3
